Fish & Chips Poker Tour Champions

The player who wins the Championship event is crowned the season Champion and has his or her name added to the Champion Trophy.

Season 8 Champion Mike T.	Season Eight Champion Mike earned his first Fish & Chips Poker Tour Champion title by beating Nick G. heads-upon Saturday, April 29th, 2017 holding 7d-6h. Nick has been runner up the last two seasons. Mike came in to the Championship fifth in chips after cashing twice (first in Event 8 and fourth in Event 7) in nine events. It was Mike’s third time going heads up for the Championship, having previously lost in Season Six and Season Three.
Season Seven Champion Chris became the first Qualifier participant to go back-to-back and also win the Championship. He defeated Nick G. heads up on Saturday, April 16th, 2016 holding As-Qc to claim the Season 7 Championship. Chris did not have a stellar season, cashing just once (1st place in Event 4) in 8 events. But he made the most of his 14th place overall standing, taking a 5th place stack to win the Qualifier, then taking the short stack all the way to the finish line in the Championship. Season 6 Champion Jason Ta.	Season Six Champion Jason became the Fish & Chips Poker Tour’s sixth Champion after defeating head’s-up opponent Mike T. on Saturday, April 18th, 2015 holding Jh-4h. Jason cashed a total of four times in Season Six which included two first place finishes in S6E2 and S6E4 and two third place finishes in S6E3 and S6E9. Season Five Champion Nick became the Fish & Chips Poker Tour’s fifth Champion after defeating head’s-up opponent Chris S. on Saturday, April 12th, 2014 holding Qh-5h. Nick cashed a total of three times in Season Five which included a first place finish in S5E9 and back-to-back fourth place finishes in S5E5 and S5E6. Season 4 Champion Bill B.	Season Four Champion Bill became the Fish & Chips Poker Tour’s fourth Champion after defeating head’s-up opponent Chris B. on Saturday, April 27th, 2013 holding 10d-8d. Bill cashed a total of four times in Season Four which included a first place finish in S4E6, a second place finish in S4E10 and back-to-back third place finishes in S4E3 and S4E4. Season Three Champion Jim became the Fish & Chips Poker Tour’s third Champion after defeating head’s-up opponent Mike T. on Saturday, April 14th, 2012 holding As-8h. Jim cashed a total of four times in Season Three which included two first place finishes in S3E7 and S3E9, a second place finish in S3E11 and a fourth place finish in S3E2. Season 2 Champion Jim S.	Season Two Champion Jim became the Fish & Chips Poker Tour’s second Champion after defeating head’s-up opponent Matt P. on Saturday, April 16th, 2011 holding Ah-8s. Jim cashed a total of three times in Season Two which included two first place finishes in S2E5 and S2E2 and a second place finish in S2E8. Season One Champion Anita became the Fish & Chips Poker Tour’s first Champion after defeating head’s-up opponent Kevin A. on Saturday, April 17th, 2010 holding Kd-8c. Anita cashed a total of three times in Season One which included a second place finish in S1E6 and two third place finishes in S1E10 and S1E1.
